Axcis Education is recruiting for a performing arts teacher for a part-time SEND School in Trafford. This role is very part-time as it is 1 morning a week.

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching performing arts (Drama & Dance) to students with a range of SEND. Experience of supporting PMLD and physical impairment is desired but not essential as long as the candidate has a good understanding of differentiation and working with SEND. Experience of understanding challenging behaviour is also essential.

This specialist provision caters for pupils with learning and physical special needs as well as complex medical issues. There is a broad spectrum of ages within the provision which caters for daily and residential care. Each teachers feels supported within the provision with lots of staff in hand to support throughout the day.

This is a part-time role (1 morning a week on either a Monday and Thursday) and would begin in November. The role would run until the February half-term in the first instance and is very likely to continue for the rest of the academic year.
