Part time - permanent role
Shift times cover either 16:30pm - 23:30pm (Average 32.5 hours) or (8.5 hours): Saturday & Sunday 7am -23.30
Our client operates 365 days per year, so there is a requirement to work on weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis.
Up to GBP8.91ph + depending on skills and experience + excellent benefits including:

Our Client is looking for a number of Claims Advisors, who have a real passion to develop within a company. Experience is not necessary as full training is given. The role of the Claims advisor will be to respond to inbound calls from home emergency insurance customers, supporting the customer through the journey of their claim from initial notification to resolution which creates the potential to have a wide and varied role with opportunities for progression. Within the department, there is an emphasis on proactive claims management skills, excellent Customer Service and the requirement to be able to handle claims across many schemes and Clients.
The Role
Respond to inbound calls from home emergency insurance customers
You will be extremely customer-focused and can think on your feet, being comfortable working to targets and KPIs in a friendly and professional call centre environment
Supporting the customer through the journey of their claim from initial notification to resolution
You will be responsible for validating the policy-holder, diagnosing the issue and deploying the most appropriate trade contractor, keeping the customer informed throughout.
You will also take excess policy payments, arrange boiler services and negotiate with contractors.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory changes
- The ability to confidently liaise with other parties.
- Work independently, as well as a part of a team when necessary.
- Good listener with effective communication skills
- Understanding and reassuring telephone manner
- Attention to detail
- Disciplined and focused to give 100% to every call
- Reliable and motivated
- Ability to learn multiple systems and processes
- Ability to problem solve and find the solution quickly and effectively
