Reed Finance are working with a lovely SME based in Bradley Stoke recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to join their friendly and busy office.

Salary GBP38,000-GBP40,000 (FTE)

The company are ideally looking for someone 4 days a week but would consider other options.

This is a hands on role with varied responsibilities including:

• Management Accounts - quarterly preparation using Sage 50 Accounts and Excel.
• Contracts analysis as required.
• Assistance with year-end statutory accounts, in preparation for external audit.
• Preparation of a weekly P&L and cash-flow forecasts.
• Sales Ledger.
• Credit control - based on an average of 30 customers on debtors' ledger.
• Daily cash-book maintenance. Monthly bank reconciliation;
• Administrative processing of sales orders including reporting requirements.
• Processing and analysis of bi-monthly employee expense claims.
• Review of purchase ledger function.
• Payroll

The ideal candidate will be a hands on accountant with a background in SME.
