Accounts Assistant - Part time
Finance assistant required to work part time on a contract until July 2022 in Redditch. You will be required to carry out a number of duties within the Finance department to ensure smooth running of the department while always ensuring full adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Key Areas of Activity:
- Processing of Invoices for payment to suppliers
o Prepare invoices for sign-off by budget holders
o Entering of invoice details onto payment system (Sage) in readiness for payment
o Dealing with general queries with internal and external contacts
- Banking and Petty Cash procedures
o Identification of items for the recording of items on spread sheet database
o Liaison with departmental areas to confirm existence and locations of items, including periodic spot checks
- General Finance Duties
o To help and assist with the filing and retrieval of documents relating to the day to day running of the Finance department
o Reprographics cross charging and access code authorisation
o Maintenance of spreadsheets
