*Role: Club Manager *

*Location: SW16, Streatham *

*Salary: GBP12,566.62 (GBP11.50 p/h) per annum*

*Hours: Term Time only, 25hours per week, 7:30-9:00am/3:00-6:00pm *

*Essential Requirements**: *

* Appropriate Level 3 qualification
* Experience working with 4-11 year olds
* Experience of working in a supervisory or management capacity
* Experience of administration
* Delivering equal opportunities in a childcare setting
* Understanding the varied needs of children and their families
* Provide and facilitate safe and stimulating play
* Proven leadership skills
* Excellent communication skill together with sufficient understanding of the use of English to ensure the well-being of the children
* Ability to work on own initiative, using judgement and common sense Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage
*Desirable Requirements: *

* At least two years' experience of working within a childcare setting
* Experience of budgeting
* Competent in using IT to support play and club administration
* Appropriate child protection training
* Current 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate
* Food Hygiene Certificate
* An understanding of Prevent Duty and Certification
*Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: *

* Planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
* Providing comprehensive care for the children including walking bus services from different sites.
* Providing support and supervision to playworkers and volunteers.
* Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment.
* Providing food and refreshments and ensuring that hygiene and health and safety standards are met.
* Administering first aid where necessary.
* Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
* Holding staff meetings and conducting regular reviews and appraisals for staff.
* Administration and record keeping, including staff and child records, financial records, ordering and purchasing and working within an agreed budget.
* Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the club and company, including schools, parents, children, club staff head office and other organisations.
* Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
* Monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment.
* Working within the framework of the company policies and procedures and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
