About Our Client

I am currently recruiting a part time payroller with to work for a private medical laboratory based in South West London. My client specialises in blood testing and have seen recent exponential growth specilising in PCR testing. My client is based in South West London. This role will be roughly three days a week (slightly more during busy periods) and paid a GBP30,000 (FTE). This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to balance an exciting role with lower, flexible hours.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Process attendance records and other documents (HMRC forms e.g. student loans, P45s)
Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order
Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires)
Update data with salary or wage adjustments
Process other financial payments or deductions (e.g. annual bonuses, commissions)
Produce reports to upper management upon request
Answer employee questions about salaries and payments
Deal with end of year processes such as P60's and P11Ds.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role
Familiarity with payroll processes
Good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll
Working knowledge of payroll systems ideally Xero
Comfortable with Excel (functions, data etc.)
An analytical mind with good math skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
