This is a really interesting and varied role within a successful and growing company, just on the outskirts of Andover with plenty of on-site parking.
You will be responsible for the day to day finances, including the sales and purchase ledgers, raising of sales invoices and banking of monies received, as well as making timely supplier payments, and some credit control duties. The role also entails preparing a weekly cash flow report, all reconciliations on the individual accounts and the ledgers at month end, as well as the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and petty cash management.
As is often the case in small to medium-sized businesses, the successful candidate will also take responsibility for the ordering of office stationery, assisting with answering the telephone, and other ad hoc general office administration duties.
The company uses Xero software, and so previous experience of this will be an advantage, but is not strictly necessary.
The role can be offered on either a full or a part-time basis to suit, and they can accommodate school hours.
