Timetable Coordinator
QA Higher Education, Fulltime & Permanent Opportunity
Homebased (occasionally in the office)

Do you have strong coordination skills with a good eye for detail? Are you an experienced MS Office user, with strong administration skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management experience, preferable within the education sector? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

About our role:

As Timetable Coordinator you will be responsible for planning and creating efficient timetables for your campus each semester. You will work closely with our team leader to ensure you are aware of student numbers and academic resource requirements. You will create timetables with a customer focused view, whilst also ensuring both lecturer and room utilisation targets are met


Here's some of what's involved:
Constant communication with the team leader regarding student numbers to ensure an adequate number of timetables have been scheduled.
Knowledge of delivery requirements for each academic programme.
Regular attendance of planning meetings with the team leader and academic deans when required.
Ensuring all timetables are planned and created with efficient use of both lecturer and room resource.
Continual communication with freelance lecturers regarding their availability and confirmation of teaching allocation.
Course set up in the Semestry software.
Creating timetables in Semestry for both student and lecturer.
Creation of timetables and revision sessions for re-sit students.
Assisting with covering classes during lecturer absence.
Assisting with lecturer time sheet approval.

Bring your experience:
Creating a large volume of timetables/schedules to tight deadlines
Experience of multi-tasking and working within an evolving environment.
Experience of managing and prioritising complex workloads with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
