We have a great opportunity to join our Information Services Team as a 2nd Line Technician on a permanent, part time (15 hours per week) basis. * Pro Rata GBP8,429.22 - GBP10,710.93.

As a 2nd Line Technician, you will be providing Service Desk support and advice, managing customer requests from initial contact to resolution. To be responsible for ensuring second line support calls are handled in a professional manner and that ISO customer satisfaction standards are met. Responsible for ensuring the provision of a quality, timely and effective IT service across the Group by contributing to the service meeting its SLA's And to assist in the diagnosis and resolution of all hardware/software, desk top & telecoms problems within the agreed SLA's.

In order to do this role, you will need experience of:

Proven desktop support experience

Experience in networking

Knowledge of ISO Standards (ISO27001)

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in: hardware, software and networking incidents and a proactive approach linked to the appropriate skill and knowledge to effect timely repairs

Provable experience and support skills in Windows 10 and Mac OS X.

Remote software distribution system (Windows Deployment Server or equivalent).

Assigning rights and determining inherited rights to accounts.

Supporting a large number of customers within a customer service orientated environment.

Full Driving licence. Willing to travel to all company sites / Willing to drive company van.
