About the role:

This is a Customer Service Advisor role in the contact centre in Kingswinford. You will be joining the Appointment Booking Team which is currently expanding to make outbound calls to existing customers and booking smart meter appointments for them. As a front-line advisor, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and delighting our customers, actively promoting the benefits of smart meters and giving useful energy advice.

You'll initially join us on a temporary basis, but there may be the opportunity to become a permanent employee later.

Initially the pay will be GBP9.75 per hour with the chance for it to later rise to GBP11.32 per hour dependant on your performance.

Great support systems in place like mental health first aiders, well-being warriors and one-to-one support meetings to drive your progression.

Mixture of home working and office working following on-site training. You will need to be able to get to site on a regular basis.

About you:

Ideally, you will already have some previous experience working in a customer service and/or contact centre role.
Naturally you will have great communication skills and will be comfortable handling a large amount of inbound and outbound calls each day.
You will also have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional and empathetic manner.
You are capable of processing and reacting to change in a proactive way in line with changing regulations.

This is a part time position where you will work 10am - 2pm Monday - Friday 20 hours per week. This cannot be amended
