Responsible for leading on the development and evaluation of Sky's marketing strategy for Broadband including delivering consumer and market insight, campaign & media strategy inputs and marketing performance evaluation.

This role sits within the Sky Broadband marketing team, which consists of four key pillars; 'Advertising and Campaigns', 'Customer', 'Product' and 'Planning'. This role leads the planning function.


What you'll do:

* Lead on short term/quarterly planning projects liaising with head of advertising & campaigns, media & creative agencies and go-to-market teams to ensure effective briefing.
* Deliver regular measurement and reporting on key business and brand metrics for the team, looking for trends and useful insights.
* Take a lead on marketing performance understanding, developing the weekly dashboard to provide a detailed view on the effectiveness of our marketing activity.
* Develop clear understanding of campaign performance and clear recommendation in partnership with central strategy team.
* Champion media trends and effectiveness insight for the team, understanding the role and strengths of channels within the wider plan, and develop recommendations for optimisation and testing.
* Work with the consumer strategy team to develop and communicate a deep understanding of our competitors and implications for our team.
* Support ad hoc planning projects to drive continuous improvement across the marketing teams.
* Be the go-to person for the Broadband marketing director on all things planning, marketing/ brand strategy, insights and performance.


What you'll bring:

* Experience working in a TTL marketing team, including cross functional working with commercial / product / research.
* Managing and influencing multiple internal and external stakeholders up to MD level.
* Problem solving and the ability to creatively resolve challenges
* An understanding of the role and strengths of different media channels, on- and offline.
* An appreciation of how to measure marketing performance and campaign development processes.
* Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail.
* The ability to visualise complex plans / data and explain to others.
* The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and have a collaborative and positive attitude.
* The ability to work at pace and a resilient nature to adapt to changing business needs.
* A passion for marketing and desire to leave a mark on the category.
