Job description

The Digital Service mission is to equip everyone working in the Department for Transport to use digital, data and technology with confidence, ambition and creativity. The role is in the Project Delivery team which consists of project managers, delivery managers, a development team and business analysts. The team confidently and creatively delivers change projects to the Department, in line with the ambitious Digital Service Vision and Mission.
 

Responsibilities

Include (but are not limited to):

• Understand and analyse requirements to make sure that digital services are built and run aligned to the Digital Service’s vision user needs
• Capturing and understanding business needs, preparing business cases and considering the implications of change on the organisation and all stakeholders

• Providing tailored analysis based on business context and stakeholder perspectives, identifying opportunities for improvement to increase value and maximise efficiency

About you

To be successful in this role you will be a team player who has a passion for delivering a high end service. You will have an analytical mindset, capable of capturing breaking down and simplifying the information for our stakeholders.

You will have an understanding of applying business analysis techniques and agile working to be able to investigate, review and documenting business functions based on project needs.

• Previously had to identify and pinpoint business opportunities to allow the business to perform more effectively.

• Confident with Stakeholder engagement, being able to identify, analyse, manage and monitor the relationships.
• Experience of working on a large scale Agile programme with a sound, practical understanding of Agile Methodologies

This interview could be conducted via a video interview, details of which will be provided to you should you be selected for interview.

• an interview and a technical exercise (eg presentation, written, or coding exercise etc)
