As a Finance Director you will know your leadership skills are important to set examples and encourage a team. Well, your future team are waiting for you! You will be overseeing the daily running of the finance department and work alongside the Finance Manager to put strategies and organisation into the department. Your expert advise will be required when presenting to the Owners, Directors and Senior management team.

Start: January 2022
Location: Outskirts of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 22.5 - 25 hours per week - Flexible on working days and hours (remote working also offered with 1 day in the office)
Salary: Up to GBP80,000 FTE

What you will be doing:

Overseeing the daily running of the Finance department
Implementing processes and strategies to make improvements
Dealing with regulatory bodies and regulatory reporting (ABTA, ATOL, CAA)
Handling foreign exchange activities
Forecasting and budgeting
Presenting budgets and reports to the board team, giving sound advice to help the growth of the business
Annual audits
Key point of contact banking matters

About you:

- You'll bring your accounting expertise and knowledge at a Senior level
- You will be a confident communicator when presenting at Board level and to the wider team
- You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team
- You will demonstrate commercial awareness
- You will have strong organisation skills to ensure deadlines are met
- You'll preferably have experience working with regulatory bodies however not essential
