A great opportunity for a Part Time Comms, PR and Marketing Manager to join a great team , if you have had recent management experience within a communications, marketing or PR role then this could be the perfect role for you.
* To be responsible for and lead on the preparation and implementation of communications strategy and agree future developments and objectives in conjunction with the Commercial Director, Chief Executive and communications steering group.
* To ensure all PR & communication channels are fully integrated and appropriately positioned for each of the key audiences with whom the Hospice is communicating.
* Act as a 'brand guardian' ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications. Providing advice on the use of the charity's brand and ensuring the brand is regularly updated and refreshed.
* To be responsible for and deliver communication strategies across the entire spectrum of comms disciplines including media and public relations, internal comms, brand marketing, advertising, marketing, digital and social media and production of materials that support the overall organisational strategic plan.
* To provide reports for senior management team and board of Trustees on the analysis of all aspects of communications
* To lead on and be responsible for the development of key messages, lead on creating and maintaining appropriate and consistent language and terminology across all media.
* Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
* Experience in effective and timely management of press
* Demonstrate creativity and innovation
* Significant recent experience in negotiation
* Excellent analytical, organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and meet challenging deadlines
* Evidenced ability to work to a high standard prioritising attention to detail
* Multimedia and photography experience
* Experience in presenting to a variety of audiences
* IT skills including Microsoft Office packages
The successful candidate will have an Educated to degree level, Marketing Certificate/Diploma or equivalent relevant experience
* Communications, PR, Journalism or marketing qualification
* Membership of a relevant professional body
* Postgraduate or further professional qualification - CIM, CIPR
Hours : 25.5 per week.
