In this role you will lead the analysis of new and amended Investment Management Agreements and Investment Guidelines and implementation of compliance rules in Aladdin across a multitude of fund structures as directed by the new business pipeline. The role is supported by two Coding Analysts.

Oversee the preliminary analysis of Investment Management Agreements, Investment Guidelines, Prospectus and any other supporting documents
Oversee the implementation of new or amended compliance rules in Aladdin to support investment guideline requirements
Ensure processes, documentation and rule testing and implementation are completed in a timely and robust manner and in accordance with documented processes and procedures
Assist BAU Mandate monitoring team with queries in respect of investment guidelines and coded rules
Act as primary point of contact for the Investments teams and Client Services in respect of new and existing client and regulatory mandates
Development of good working relationships with FM’s, PMA’s, Client Services, IT, BRS and Data Management Teams to ensure Mandate Compliance Team performs its obligations fully and professionally
Work with CMIA colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment where possible
Assist the Mandate Coding Team Leader with the ad hoc projects as directed

 

 

Solid industry knowledge and expertise in an investment compliance role including experience of contract analysis, rule coding and testing 
Solid understanding of Aladdin rule coding methodologies
Understanding of IMA documents/ Prospectuses and legal structures employed across different types of investment mandates.
Strong communication and analysis skills to deal with internal clients such as Fund Managers, Client Managers, IT and Data Management specialists.
Good understanding of UCITS Regulatory Rules pertaining to UK OEIC’s, Luxembourg SICAV’s, German KAG, other European UCITS and AIFMD
Good communication and analysis skills to deal with internal clients such as Fund Managers, Client Managers, IT and Data Management specialists.
Ability to prioritise workload
Ability to follow procedures and act upon instructions

Understanding of UCITS Regulatory Rules pertaining to UK OEIC’s, Lux SICAV and German KAGGS’s
Good product, instrument knowledge of Regulated and non-regulated funds. Which includes a good understanding of cash and derivative instruments applicable to mandate monitoring responsibilities.
