Interaction Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a local charitable organisation in their search for a Part time Senior Finance Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis, based near Chatteris, Cambridgeshire.

Working c25-30 hours a week (split over 4/5 days), this is an opportunity to join a business who are able to offer a genuine home/work life balance, within a supportive environment.

Reporting to the MD and occasionally the trustees, this is a varied role which includes full responsibility for all the day to day management, control and integrity of all finance activities. Typical duties include:

Producing monthly management accounts
Annual Statutory accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Cash Control and Management
Payroll (Outsourced)
Grant applications/funding claims and returns
Systems and Processes
Other adhoc duties as required to support the business
Managing the activities of the existing bookkeeper
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:

Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/ICMA
Experienced in working in a charity or Small business environment would be advantageous
IT Literate - Ideally with Sage 200, but Microsoft Excel is essential
Able to manage own time and deadlines
Previous experience of staff management would be useful
Team player with a flexible attitude
This is an exciting time to join the business, as they have gone through a huge period of change, and there are some ambitious future plans for the right person.

There current interim post holder will be leaving the business in March, so suitable applicants will be ideally able to start as soon as possible to allow for a longer handover period.
