We are a charitable housing association and social investment agency, providing a wide range of housing, care and support services across Cambridgeshire. We are looking for a fully qualified accountant (either ACA or ACCA) to join our Board and the Group Audit and Risk Committee. You will probably have qualified in practice. You will have substantive pre- and post-qualification experience that has included auditing and UK accounting standards compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of commercial finance and the wider commercial sector.
Living within 50 miles of Cambridge, you will bring local knowledge and an appreciation of the key issues affecting housing, poverty, and vulnerability in our local community.
You would be joining a very talented and committed Board, who care passionately about providing great quality homes and services for Cambridgeshire people. As a Board Member you would be using your skills to lead the organisation in continuing to provide excellent services and remaining financially viable.
