We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to work as part of a team developing the web-based geographic visualisation capability for our class leading Command and Control (C2) and Situational Awareness (SA) software.

This software enables our customers to effectively manage military operations, homeland defence, crisis management and conflict resolution. Your primary responsibilities will include:-

Capture, interpret and develop customer requirements.
Design and develop JavaScript and TypeScript components
Unit and Integration testing
Code reviews
Contribute to Agile planning and management activities

Essential Experience:

Proven commercial experience in JavaScript and TypeScript
Single Page Application design and development
Familiarity with development on Linux operating systems
Experience of the full development lifecycle
Yarn / NPM

Desirable Skills

VueJS, Vuetify or similar reactive, component based front-end library e.g. React or Angular
Java 11 + Spring Boot
Git/BitBucket
Docker
Maven / Gradle
Web Security e.g OAuth2
SDK/API development
