This role is part of the Kickstart Scheme. To apply for this job, you must be claiming Universal Credit and 16 to 24 years old.
The Social Media Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Executive to create engaging content for The Company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
This is a temporary role, working 25 hours per week Monday to Friday. These hours can be worked flexibly across the week. Homeworking to be agreed after initial induction.

Social Media Assistant Job Duties:
Maintaining the social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
Researching new and emerging social media platforms.
Supporting with written, graphic, and video content via Canva and Smart Studio.
Promoting engaging content.
Working as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns.
Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects.
Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content.
Using timelines and scheduling media to support with a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction.
Supporting the Marketing Executive with activities and projects.
Undertaking any other additional duties when required by the company.
Skills required:
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Reasonable level of English and Maths.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent telephone manner.
Excellent attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.
