As a Project Manager you will bring knowledge and experience to the Partnership by designing, delivering and implementing business change on small to medium sized projects to meet business needs.  You will do this by adopting and learning appropriate project management methodologies in order to acquire and utilise the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.

What will you be doing?

  • As a co-owner, actively share the responsibilities of ownership and support Partners and colleagues to have a voice in our business.

  • Acts as a point of escalation within project and influences collaborative ways of working between the project team and sponsor balancing different needs.

  • Enable the project team to deliver regular change in scope through effective ways of working; works with the Product Owner to ensure the scope of the deliverables are continually optimised to deliver the outcome and associated value; removes organisational, technical blockers and constraints as part of regular conversations and ceremonies; escalates significant issues as require.

  • You may also be the people manager and / or assignment manager for a number of project team members including, in some cases, other Project Managers.

  • Undertake a combined Project and Change Management role, depending on the size and value of the change and/or using your project management expertise to assure project management activity carried out by a non specialist.

What you'll have

  • Recognised professional qualification in Project Management - e.g. Prince 2, Agile  or some experience working as a Project Manager using at least one standard project management discipline.

  • Experience in project management, managing multiple projects across people, process and technology

  • Experience of senior stakeholder management

  • Experience of managing teams consisting of internal and external resources, including building and managing 3rd party supplier relationships.
