The opportunity

As the Change Team, we are taking care of the development, maintenance and delivery of the Existing Business change roadmap. We undertake analysis, impact assessment and input to regulatory consultations to help shape direction of future regulations and legislation. We build forecasting and planning future demands on the portfolio beyond the existing projects. We deliver regulatory and discretionary projects, programmes and change initiatives.

We handle the Existing Business Incident programme including the sizing, prioritization and delivery of tap-off solutions, redress payments to customers and recoveries for shareholders. We are the Centre of Excellence for Project Management and Business Analysis.

Currently we are looking to expand the team with Business Analyst on 9 months fixed term contract.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the analysis phases of Change programmes

  • Produce business analysis deliverables in accordance with the methodology being used to deliver the project, either small change, waterfall or agile

  • Follow the processes make sure that the business analysis deliverables (typically business requirements or user stories) are fit for purpose for project delivery

  • Engage with project partners to ensure effective project delivery

  • Support the Project Manager throughout the lifecycle of the project

  • Be involved in the full end-to-end project lifecycle, up to and including Business Readiness activity

  • Input to a department 'Maturity and Capability' model

 

Requirements

  • It is expected that the Change Business Analyst will be able to work on a number of projects simultaneously

  • Previous experience in regularoty environment 

  • Prepare realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) and track activities against the project schedule

  • Arrange, prepare and conduct meetings, workshops and presentations for a wide variety of business partners.

  • Produce business analysis deliverables on small to large projects, regardless of delivery platform or methodology in line with our delivery standards (quality, timeliness etc)

  • Engage in formal reviews of business analysis workload

  • Identify, assess and handle issues and risks to the success of the project

  • Help identify and handle dependencies for the project

  • Support Project Manager during the lifetime of the project- tasks may include support to complete the Business Case, chair Working Delivery Groups.

  • Undertake development opportunities towards Project Management

  • Maintain consistency of service delivery standards

  • Ability to obtain BPSS level of clearance

 

Knowledge and desirable experience

  • Knowledge of project management lifecycle

  • Understanding of Business Analysis tools and techniques

  • Knowledge of business operational processes, systems and product knowledge for specific sector (financial, banking, insurance etc)

  • Exposure to Project lifecycle methodology; Waterfall, Agile or Small Change

  • Agile Scrum Master
