Pure are currently recruiting for a fantastic modern manufacturing business for a part time HR Advisor role. This role is looking for someone who is wanting to work between 16 - 21 hour per week, there is complete flexibility about how the hours are split over the week. Office located in North Cambridge.

About the role
This role would suit an experienced HR professional who is looking to work in a busy environment, enjoying a full range of HR activity that comes with being a sole HR practitioner in a growing business but also meet their own work life balance requirement in a flexible part time capacity.

Job responsibilities

Provide advice and administrative support to the MD and act as first point of contact for HR related admin queries within the business
Responsible for processing new starters, leavers and changes, holiday management, creating contracts, letters of employment and other similar tasks
Ensure all documentation is captured and kept on staff files
Participate actively in disciplinaries, grievances and appeals, taking notes and taking responsibility for all the related administration
Making sure all staff records including "right to work" documentation is up to date, working IT support & others as necessary
Ensure all correspondence is kept up to date and is sent out in a timely manner
Skills required

CIPD qualified (CIPD level 3 minimum - ideally level 5) or proven experience in a dedicated HR capacity
Experience of working within an HR generalist role
Positive, initiative taking, self-motivated with the ability to work independently using your own initiative
Ability to plan and prioritise within a fast-paced environment through good organisational skills and time management of self and others
Experience with UK employment law
Strong MS office skill
Excellent communicator
