We are working with a school in the Lincolnshire area who requires a Performing Arts Teacher to cover a planned absence from October half term on a part time basis.

The Head Teacher prides them self on the ambitious, creative and supportive team of Teachers they have already appointed throughout the School and hopes to find another inspiring professional to join. Due to the nature of this requirement, the length of the Performing Arts a Teacher vacancy is expected to be significant - at least two terms.

This rural secondary academy received a "good" from Ofsted in its last report and it's evident that the school has high aspirations for all learners through year on year improvements in results.

The school is part of a regional academy trust and has affiliate links with the primary feeder schools too.

Staff who may be reliant public transport will find access limited but those with their own transport methods will enjoy ample onsite parking.

The school supports Key Stages 3 & 4 learners and experience of working with higher level Key Stage 5 students would be desirable for the cohort they have.

Due to the cohesive approach from the school, teamwork is paramount and as such, involvement in extracurricular roles and pastoral support is very important. With this in mind, the successful Performing Arts Teacher should be fully committed to supporting these key areas.

The school invests in an enviable CPD programme which is available to all and they will provide supply staff with full access to the IT systems to ensure you are able to work no differently to permanent counterparts.

SLT are highly visible throughout the academy and make themselves available always.

Essential requirements:

QTS is essential for this post. Delivery of Performing Arts to GCSE is also essential.
