We are continuing to expand our London presence and are seeking an Investment Banking Analyst with M&A experience to join our Macquarie Capital Advisory & Capital Solutions team in London, to support in the execution of a broad range of transactions.

Macquarie Capital is the investment banking and principal investment arm of Macquarie Group and our London team delivers independent M&A, capital markets and debt advisory services to financial and corporate clients throughout Europe. Macquarie Capital Advisory & Capital Solutions focuses mainly on sectors spanning TMT, FIG, Services, Software, Consumer, and Healthcare.

You will work with the senior team to execute opportunities, assisting them in all marketing and transaction execution activities. You will prepare pitch books for marketing purposes and marketing materials for transaction execution purposes as well as model cash flows / financial projections to support transactions and manage internal processes for investment decisions. You will also have the opportunity to attend relevant meetings and interact with our client base.

To be successful for this role, you will have between 2-3 years of relevant M&A experience and an excellent academic record. You will be able to demonstrate your deal execution experience and be regarded as an outstanding performer amongst your peers. You will possess strong financial modelling, valuation, and presentation skills, and have excellent written and spoken English language capabilities.
