Night Concierge - Part Time
Range Street, Halifax
GBP9.70
31.5 hours per week - Including weekends
We are seeking a Night Concierge to join our team at Range Street, Halifax. Set alongside the quiet surroundings of Akroyd Park, our supported living service offers housing for 16 to 17 year olds who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
As Night Concierge you will provide an effective reception and concierge service, acting as first point of contact for all customers, visitors and suppliers ensuring that the highest level of customer care and service are maintained at all times.

The role of Night Concierge will include:
Responding positively to customer requests and queries, efficiently offering solutions or recommendations
Completing concierge check lists, feeding back information and completing incident reports if required
Developing and delivering effective administrative procedures
Ensuring that security of the service is maintained by completing hourly checks and monitoring CCTV
Ensuring the safety and security of the building
Carrying out cleaning tasks
Preparing communal areas for residents, including kitchens and bathrooms and ensuring that their security is maintained
This role will include long periods of lone working at night
Skills and experiences:
Some experience of security or working with vulnerable adults in a similar role is essential
A positive, can-do attitude
Basic health and safety knowledge
NVQ2 in Front of House Reception or similar is desirable
Friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to communicate and engage with our residents, visitors and colleagues
