Part-time Claims Handler
Pertemps are looking for a permanent Part-time Claims Handler to join there busy team in Shrewsbury. Our client insures multiple sectors so knowledge and experience working in an insurance field is essential for this role.
This is a great opportunity which will allow you to join a friendly, sociable company who will support you with training and development.
Duties not limited to:
• Request and review photographic evidence
• Liaise with insurers to notify them of the claim and supply relevant documentary evidence
• Reporting and keeping the client informed of claim progress
• Assist with any queries when needed
Ideal Candidate
• Have a strong understanding of insurance and policy wording to determine if the insured party is covered
• Knowledge of determining the nature of the incident
• Knowledge of Acturis - preferred but not essential
• Keen eye for detail and a strong ability to work under pressure
• Work off own initiative with a "can do attitude"
• A desire to work in a fast-paced environment and driven to learn
Hours Part-time,3 days/21 hours per week pro data - hourly and
Salary pro rata - GBP15-18k per annum, GBP13.73 - 16.48 p/h
5 weeks paid holiday + Bank Holidays (pro-rata)
