The Company
A manufacturing organisation based in North Shields are seeking a part time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their business. This will be a part time role for approximately 4 days a week. There will be an option of home working upon successful completion of your probation.

The Role
  • Processing invoices against purchase orders where applicable or directly to GL codes
  • Obtaining approvals for non PO invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • GRNI reconciliation
  • Resolving invoice queries - liaising with suppliers and colleagues as required
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Posting credit card statements & ensuring invoices have been received and approved for all expenditure
  • Supplier payment runs
  • Providing spend analysis to budget holders for key cost accounts
  • Maintaining supplier information in the ERP system

The Person
  • Previous experience within Purchase Ledger is essential
  • Strong user of Excel
  • Knowledge of an ERP system would be beneficial.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Detail-orientated, ability to multitask and prioritise tasks with strict deadlines
