This is a great part-time opportunity for someone looking to utilise their Buying experience working for an international brand with great benefits.
Hours: ideally 9am - 2pm either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday
Salary: GBP25k (pro-rata)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct purchasing strategies
- Conduct sourcing activities by managing demands and supporting strategic initiatives
- Managing queries and offer commercial evaluation
- Responsible for order processing (Procure to Pay process)
- Master data and information management
- Processing of requisitions and requests for pricing, information, proposals, quotations in the relevant system
- Supplier / data research and negotiations
- Analysing offers (price comparison, excel adjudication sheets, assessments etc)
- Maintaining supplier master data in the purchasing system
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Knowledge of purchasing processes (focus: S2C/P2P), sourcing, negotiation techniques, contract management, operational procurement
- Previous experience in a similar role (essential)
- Previous experience in SAP (non-essential)
- Strong numeracy skills
- Highly analytical to be able to compare goods and services
- Proficient in Microsoft packages, especially Excel
- Able to influence stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Educated to Degree standard or CIPS qualification
