Our successful IT services client based in Stonehouse have a new requirement for a Part Time Finance Assistant to join their team on a contract basis in order to cover Maternity Leave.
The contract would begin at the beginning of February 2022 and will run through until the end of the calendar year.
The company offer a mixture of working from the office and from home, laptop provided. Although, all initial training will take place at their offices in Stonehouse.
Key Responsibilities;
- Responsible for the credit control function for the company
- New customer account set up including credit checks
- Process customer remittances
- Keep accurate records of due dates for retention payments and collect in a timely manner
- Process staff expenses and mileage claims as well as fuel card invoices
- Raising purchase orders for approval
- New supplier account set up
- Process supplier payments
- Quarterly and year end stock reconciliations in conjunction with Finance Manager
- Ad hoc administrative tasks including dealing with incoming calls, booking meetings, managing visitors and ordering of office supplies

- Excellent communication skills
- Work well on own initiative as well as in a team
- Computer literate
- Some previous experience working in a finance department
- Excellent attention to detail
Hours; 20 hours per week - some flexibility in when these hours are worked, to be discussed at interview stage
Salary; GBP20,000 pro rata
