This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work at a 5 Star Stately Home and become a part of a passionate, established team at one of the most prestigious venues across the North West. Knowsley Hall holds events including weddings, awards evenings, conferences, and filming.

Role and Responsibilities:
* To always deliver the highest level of customer service, ensuring the customers experience is outstanding.
* Assist with the preparation, running and close down of events.
* Prepare and set up events in line with Knowsley Hall's standard operating procedures.
* Complete tasks and activities in line with event requirements such as waiting on, bar tending and reception.
* Complete all necessary close down activities reporting to the Supervisor or Manager on duty.
* Complete all sales transactions honestly and accurately.
* Wash glasses, crockery, cutlery, utensils etc. as required.
* Work as part of a team and assist other staff members when required.
* Multi-skilled in various areas to support event requirements.
* Ensure Health and Safety standard operating procedures are always followed, reporting any issues or accidents to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
* To ensure the collection is protected at all times by reporting any potential issues to the Manager on duty so that events are carried out in line with the collection guidelines.

Personal Qualities:
* Enjoys and works well within a team.
* Outstanding communication skills.
* Polite and professional.
* Remains calm and professional in pressured situations.
* Excellent customer service skills.

You must have previous experience of working within the hospitality industry, preferably but not essentially, in a similar role.

Please note that working hours are in line with the needs of the business and cannot always be guaranteed. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be available to work weekends as well as weekdays.

Due to the location of Knowsley Hall and the start and finish times of the shifts, you must be able to make your own way to and from the venue.
