What do you need?

You don't need to have worked in a contact centre before; you just need to have a willingness to learn, excellent communication and a strong desire to do the right thing for our customers every time. Our current call centre staff come from a variety of backgrounds such as retail, hairdressing and beauty, hospitality and more!

We are looking for candidates who have a natural ability to be empathetic, confident and passionate as well as resilient. In addition, being adaptable and having experience of working to targets is essential.

In return, we'll provide a thorough training package to support you in dealing with our customers confidently.

You won't be alone! As well as joining as part of a group, you will also have extensive mentoring and ongoing coaching to ensure you have the support you need whilst you learn how to provide an outstanding service to our customers.

Why are we recruiting?

We are now recruiting for exceptional customer's service individuals (from all walks of life) to join our high performing teams and work towards our long-term business goals.

As we are an employer that champions personal development, we have found that, due to some of our contact centre staff members moving on to other roles in the business, we need to recruit more motivated and driven individuals to play a key part in supporting our customers.

What will you be doing?

With your professional telephone manner and excellent communication, you will be the front-line voice dealing with a wide range of different telephone calls. You'll be taking inbound calls and, on occasion, making outbound calls as well. Our frontline staff use a variety of IT systems, so being computer minded would be advantageous but not a requirement for your success as you'll be trained to be successful in your role. Life in our contact centres is very rewarding, upbeat, and energetic and you'll be surrounded by supportive mentors, team members and team leaders who love what they do!

Why should you become a colleague?

Being a successful water company doesn't come easy! Our people are important to us! We want to make sure we reward and recognise all the great work that they do. Our extensive benefits package includes:

Yearly bonus scheme of up to 8% of your salary - depending on your performance

Competitive pension scheme where Anglian Water double the contribution you make!

23 days annual leave rising with length of service, plus opportunity to sell or buy additional annual leave

Private health and dental care for you and your family members

Free eye tests

20% off new EE telephone contracts

Loyalty savings scheme

Flexible benefits to support your wellbeing

This will be discussed in more detail with your line manager as part of your ongoing performance review.
