This role is a fantastic opportunity to join the Digital Transformation Sales and Service organisation as a Planning Analyst reporting into Portfolio Manager, working on a diverse portfolio covering Peacock, NOW, Sky Ticket and Sky Showtime. These portfolios are of major importance to Sky and the planning team provide support by embedding and governing the necessary processes to support work intake, finance management, resource management, reporting, change control, comms & engagement, strategic planning & prioritisation.


What you'll do:

* Lead the departments centralised work intake process, for all the initiatives from idea inception through to roadmapping & development.
* Contribute to planning activities via the maintenance of the portfolio roadmaps. Regularly assessing capacity vs demand and foreseeing challenges on roadmaps to allow for mitigation.
* Support the ongoing financial forecasting processes, tracking costs against budgets and ensuring the appropriate financial controls are maintained and reported.
* Maintain a view of the departments resource base inclusive of starters, leavers, vacancies, and support data modelling activities where necessary.
* Communicate and share portfolio wide roadmaps, priorities, and key messages to the wider department.
* Collaborate with Project Management team to ensure the weekly project reports are updated in timely manner.


What you'll bring:

* Experience of capacity & demand planning, and financial analysis and reporting.
* Knowledge of tracking and reporting tools, experience with JIRA and Confluence is desirable.
* Knowledge and experience of Clarity or a similar enterprise level PPM system.
* Good presentation skills with ability to deliver insights clearly to stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
* A good understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies.
* Ability to adapt quickly to change.
* Self-Motivation and excellent time management skills in order to meet business deadlines.
