As this placement is part of the Kickstart scheme and is a minimum of 25 hours a week, we ask all applicants to be aware that to be eligible for a Kickstart placement, you must be aged between 16 and 24 and be in receipt of Universal Credit.

AWE (one of the best 25 big companies to work for in the UK) offers an attractive array of benefits which include:

  • Flexible working hours

We are looking for a HR Recruitment Coordinator to join our Resourcing Team under the government Kickstart scheme. This role will be a 6-month contract working up to 25 hours per week over a 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off).

Within our HR Department, the Resourcing Function manages circa 1,000 hires per annum into the business. This activity sees us recruiting a wide variety of roles ranging from firefighters to mechanical engineers to nuclear physicists. We are a busy and vibrant team and believe this is an excellent opportunity for a Kickstart candidate to come and learn the ropes of recruitment and develop some skills that will help them in their future career.

These roles will include supporting a Recruiter in activity such as:

  • Conducting admin in our systems
  • Contacting candidates to discuss their applications
  • Organising interviews and speaking with hiring managers in the AWE business

All training and support will be provided. If you are keen to learn and have a positive can-do attitude then we want to hear from you…
