We have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development Business Partner (Leadership) to join our team within the Central Services Team here at Vistry Group. The suitable candidate can be located within easy reach of any of our regional offices.

As our Learning and Development Business Partner (Leadership) your main focus for the L&D Business Partner during the first six months will be the development and delivery of the Group Leadership Programme. You will work across the group to develop and deliver a bespoke, blended leadership programme to develop the skills of our people ranging from senior leaders to new line managers. You will be involved in development of materials and training delivery, along with evaluation of outcomes and continuous improvement of the programme. Following the successful launch and delivery of this programme, the Business Partner will be the lead on leadership development and will also take responsibility for leading projects and designing, developing, and delivering a range of learning solutions in response to the evolving needs and strategic objectives of the business.

  • Strong team player, with ability to work autonomously
  • People person who thrives on development of people
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure in meeting targets
  • Excellent communications skills with ability to build and manage relationships with leaders and employees at all levels
  • Friendly, trustworthy and professional attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stay

More about the Learning and Development Business Partner (Leadership) role…

  • During the first six months, develop and deliver the Vistry Group Leadership programme in line with current and future business requirements
  • Develop a blended programme including eLearning, virtual classrooms, and face to face
  • Provide updates and regular feedback to the business, presenting at events and board meetings
  • Work with external training partners as required, ensuring that all content is aligned, and the overall learning objectives and messaging remains consistent
  • Development of a full 360 review for use in the programmes
  • Training delivery of senior, intermediate and foundation level programmes
  • Partner with the business to identify skills/training gaps
  • Liaise with managing directors, BU directors, HR team to identify training requirements and share best practise.
  • Provide learning and development solutions across all areas of curriculum from commercial to leadership, operational capabilities and technical skills.
  • Be an ambassador for the L&D team and strategy
  • Flexibility to adapt solutions to changing business needs
  • Ensure all L&D solutions are aligned to blended learning philosophy and 70-20-10 model
  • Work as a proactive team member, taking on responsibilities to cover team workload as required
  • Design and delivery of a range of learning solutions in response to business needs
  • Act in accordance with all SHE policies and procedures
