HR Manager
Main Purpose of Job: Provide professional advice to Managers and employees in relation to all aspects of a generalist HR Management role including employee relations, terms and conditions of employment and policies and procedures. Develop and implement HR processes and procedures to ensure they comply with current legislation.
Reporting to: General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Management Team and employees providing HR advice to ensure legal compliance on all HR aspects.
* Continue to review HR policies and procedures in line with changes in Employment Law.
* Conduct and advise Managers on Employee Relations issues such as grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, etc. Where necessary attending hearings on behalf of the Hotel.
* Manage time and attendance including sickness absence across the Hotel.
* Advise and support Line Managers in performance management and development, training on conducting performance reviews and appraisals.
* Prepare and update job descriptions and person specifications.
* Manage the recruitment process, liaising with Managers, recruiters, agencies and arranging interviews and then processing new starter paperwork completing the onboarding process and ordering uniform.
* Manage staff accommodation and conduct accommodation audits.
* Developing and managing the employee benefits and reward programme.
* Creating, monitoring and delivering a training and developing programme for Managers and employees.
* Collation of information for payroll purposes for the Financial Controller.
* Promote effective communication and management of change within the Hotel through formal briefings, meetings, newsletters, etc.
* Carry out all administration responsibilities relating to HR maintaining accurate and up to date personnel records
