Employee Engagement Officer
Permanent contract, 24 hours per week, with an option for some working from home.
The Role - Employee Engagement Officer
This is a key role working as part of our People team taking responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of employee engagement related projects, activities, and communications.
As an Employee Engagement Officer you will:
* Plan and co-ordinate employee engagement related communications and activities, supporting the zoo's commitments in areas such as Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
* Produce engaging copy that supports excellent internal communication across channels such as SharePoint, LinkedIn, Facebook etc
* Produce and utilise regular data and metrics, both qualitative and quantitative, in order to inform and support future actions

The Package
* Permanent contract, 24 hours per week

* Salary of GBP27,378.50 pro rata (this includes our 2022 pay award which is effective from 1 January 2022)

Our Requirements - Employee Engagement Officer
* Experience working in a similar role working with employee engagement related projects / activities and / or internal communications
* Experience producing engaging content for a range of communication channels, demonstrating high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent organisation skills, able to co-ordinate a number of tasks and activities and meeting deadlines
Although not essential, the following would be desirable:
* Experience using SharePoint
