We are seeking a dynamic Senior Digital Content Officer who can create user-focussed digital content.

Position: Senior Digital Content Officer

Location: The position is based at 34 – 44 Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JG. Hybrid working from home and the office is currently in operation

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours a week (flexible working considered)

Salary: £33,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Contract: 12 months Fixed term contract

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Digital Content Officer with a proven track record of creating compelling digital content for different audiences.

You will be working as part of a Digital Team looking to transform the charity's digital output. You will be responsible for creating digital content – articles, blog posts, video content, podcasts and ensuring that they are, informative, engaging and laser-focussed on meeting our strategic objectives.

About You

A digital native with proven digital content skills, as comfortable at producing website articles highlighting best practice in the sector as you are in creating engaging, powerful videos with the public to support our Dying Matters campaign. You understand what makes good digital content and know how to write for search engines and for humans. You’ll be joining a small but experienced and ambitious digital team with big digital projects planned over the next year.

As Senior Digital Content Officer, you will be adept at writing for a variety of audiences on a variety of topics; content will include interviews with staff in hospices, news stories on policy reports or content for the end of life guide for the public and much more besides. The digital content will be informative, compelling and meet user need and our strategic objectives.

This national charity is working for those experiencing dying, death and bereavement. It works for the benefit of people affected by death and dying, collaborating with our hospice members and other partners who work in end of life care.

Everyone, no matter who they are, where they are or why they are ill, should receive the best possible care at the end of their life.
