Salary: GBP10.00 - GBP11.00 p/h

Equation Recruitment are looking for a cook to work part time at our clients small and quaint care-home based in Banbury. They require somebody who can independently prepare a 3 course meal for up to 21 people and then bake cakes for the afternoon. You must be able to prepare, cook and serve meals and deserts from scratch.

The working hours would be 9:00am - 2:00pm. However, there is a 2-week rotation that dictates working days.
Week 1: Two days out of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Week 2: Working both Saturday and Sunday

As this is a care home you will be around/ serving vulnerable adults and will need a DBS check. This can easily be acquired with our help and assistance, as long as you do not have anything in your background that may affect you working around vulnerable people.

Role Responsibilities:
*Cooking and serving hot and cold food from scratch independently
*Baking afternoon cakes for the residents
*Handing over and liaising with other kitchen staff to ensure consistent, clear communication.
*Ensuring all food is compliant with EHO hygiene regulations.
