Support Worker

We are seeking Support Worker to support people with a learning disability to lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Our client has supported people with a learning disability to live the life they choose, in the community, at home, at work and in residential settings since 1987

Position: Support Worker (Day Opportunties)

Location: Hereford

Contract: Part Time and Relief hours available - This role is shift work

Salary: £9.17 per hour

About the role:

As a support worker you will be part of an inclusive team empowered to create innovative ways to support an individual achieve their own personal goals. The ways of supporting will change with everyone you work with because everyone has different ambitions.

Supporting people in their daily lives is as varied and any day could include; helping someone develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, helping people plan and manage their own home, support with leisure, interests and travel.

About you:

As a Support Worker your enthusiasm, people skills, reliability and 'can-do' approach is vital - but no formal experience is necessary as all staff receive ongoing endorsed training tailored to the specific needs of the individual you support, allowing personal development and career progression.
