Information about the school

At The Flourish Federation, the whole-child truly comes first; They are at the heart of all our decision making. We are committed to providing vibrant hands-on learning experiences, enabling them to be fully equipped for life in the wider world and develop a love for learning.

We have a family focussed ethos, working closely with our families, seeing the relationship between home and school as one of the key driving forces behind a child's success in school - not only academically but also emotionally.

Our team across the federation are dedicated to inspire a passion for learning, within a caring, empathetic environment, fostering character development so that all children learn to identify, explore and realise their potential, regardless of starting points. We believe that by guiding and inspiring our children, they will flourish and achieve to become lovable, respected members of their communities, embracing and contributing to the world around them.

We are blessed with an abundance of space, featuring a 'zoned' system for playtimes at the Junior School (Forest-themed library, Geek Zone, The Hub), a forest school, a sensory room, a year 6 common room and more! Our children are eager to learn and behaviour expectations are of a high standard. Our children are not always perfect - who is! - but we have things in place to support those who need that little more structure or gentle redirection.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our students.
