Business Support Manager (BSM)

Working from home, with flexible hours, mainly term time. This role is with an experienced entrepreneurial team supplying an award-winning, sustainable drinks offer, to schools and catering.

generationJuice (www.generationjuice.co.uk) delivers delicious natural juice-based drinks through our Drinks Hubs. We enable caterers to cut throw away plastic bottles and cans in favour of customer own reusable bottles. Launched in 2018, our disruptive technologies are now in high demand. As a result we need to set-up additional resources to manage customer onboarding and day to day support and business controls.

The Business Manager will be responsible for key business services. Working from home and reporting to Karen Cunningham (MD Operations, Wirral based), this role would be sub-contracted at £14.50 ph (average of 10-15 hrs pw) with payment each month (first 3 months at £13 ph during this training period).

The BSM will have good experience in various office functions, including use of the Microsoft suite, and will be well organised and a good communicator.  Timings for the role are flexible but some time each day, between 1245 – 1345 is preferable. In addition, one scheduled day each month (term time) will be spent with us either in company meetings or at customer premises to provide you with better insight into our business. This role allows more work to be scheduled during term time so as to free-up time during school holidays (60% of our customers are schools).

generationJuice wishes to install 1000 Drinks Hubs within the next 4 years across 350 sites and has investor backing to finance even stronger growth. To ease this administrative workload, we utilise the extensive resources of 3rd party telesales and factoring facilities. The BSM role would be to manage these services.

JOB TASK SUMMARY

  1. Customer onboarding and experience
    1. Setting up new customers on Xero (accounting software)
      • New contact, asset machine location report update
      • Agreement signed off
      • Repeat invoicing set up for recurring items
      • Customer contact after install to review experience
      • Oversee customer reports and rebates
      • Maintain the Customer Experience Checklist
    2. Assist telesales team with any order processing exceptions
    3. Oversee QC ledger and assist in resolution
    4. Assist factoring debtor management team with query exceptions
  2. Supplier monthly payment run preparation and oversee QC ledger
  3. Monthly management sales and margin report preparation and publishing
  4. Quality control schedule and process management
  5. Asset (dispensers) management, control of the register and monthly reconciliation
  6. Maintain the BSM procedure manual with quarterly review and update
