Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful SME based in Bromsgrove who have experienced growth on growth each year. This is an excellent opportunity to join this business as an Accounts Assistant.
Summary
To provide support to the accounts department by performing finance and administration tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Purchase ledger- processing & paying invoices
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Reconcile credit card statements
* Processing Engineer timesheets
* Bank reconciliations
* VAT Returns of the smaller subsidiary companies
* Petty Cash
* Processing Subcontractor invoices under the CIS Scheme and DVRC (Domestic VAT Reverse charge), both these will be taught
* Adhoc admin
Skills and experience
* IT skills - Sage 50 Accounts, Excel, word
* Motivated
* Willing to learn
* Hard Working
* Enthusiastic
* Maths/ English A-C/ 8-4 grade
* AAT Level 2/3
Package and benefits
* 27.5 hours a week over 5 days
* 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
