Bridgethorne has recently moved all of its Training courses online and our training team currently deliver most of our courses via Webex, Zoom or Teams. 

We are now looking for additional hosts to join our team to help our trainers during Virtual training courses.

The role of the Virtual Meeting Host involves:

  • Helping to set up individual virtual training sessions and push out invitations to trainers and delegates 
  • Liaise with Trainers and occasionally clients to make sure you have all the correct files, delegate information and understand the schedule ready for each session  On the day, welcome each delegate onto the session and explain how the various functions work   Sit in the background throughout the training session to check on the chat panel for anyone with technical issues and assist where necessary Explain and open and close breakout rooms  
  • Create and host polls via virtual training system and assist Trainers with any extra additions e.g. videos, Mural boards, Slido etc.   

Full training will be given but you will need to be naturally unflustered, confident and friendly over audio/video. 

You will be familiar using tech in general and have used at least one of the meeting platforms as a participant.

The hours for this role will be ad-hoc and agreed 2-6 weeks in advance - we can't guarantee any set hours, but it could involve occasional full days and some early starts may be required due to training in international time zones, therefore flexibility is required.  

This role may fit in around someone who has other weekly commitments or someone who is looking for ad-hoc hourly work.

Initially, a 6 month commitment will be required but there is scope for this role to extend beyond this.
