We currently have opportunity for Schedule Coordinators to join us on a part-time, permanent basis (hours are flexible around requirement) - a role in which you will proactively and effectively manage customer schedules to ensure loads are planned in line with haulage capabilities.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Regular calls with customers/site contacts to confirm forward schedules and book in delivery dates

Update JD Edwards with agreed dates

Regular review with customer/site contacts to align forward schedules with despatch volumes

Optimising haulage capacity to maximise efficiencies

Working with the Planning Team to action schedule changes relating to stock outs within the JD Edwards system

Collation of changes to update the Sales Offices in order for them to communicate with the customer

On boarding customers to customer portal

Monitoring up-take of customer portal

Updating CRM with accurate/up to date information

Key Skills/Experience

Good interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written

Excellent telephone manner and accurate keyboard skills

Flexible and enthusiastic individual able to work under pressure and use own initiative

PC Literate and numerate, proficient in Microsoft applications, including Office and specifically Excel

Demonstrate creativity and adaptability

Previous customer service experience is desirable
