Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Support service supervisors (cook team leaders). Your shift will be based on a 12 week roster averaging 26.25 hours a week, this is a fixed term contract until September 30th 2022. You will work 3 nights on 3 nights off and the shift times are 10 pm - 06.00 am, this also includes working weekends. This post is based at the New Baltic Laboratory Centre in Gateshead where you will be in charge of a team and the cooking of food to help feed staff who work in the laboratories Your Job role will involve:

Day to Day running of your shift and the unit,
Cooking and reheating of food.
Ordering and controlling of stock.
Management of staff.
Hygiene with in the unit.
Computer and paper work.
Training of staff.
Computer work.

You will be part of the Trusts Catering Team. You will need a good awareness of food hygiene and be willing to undertake allergen training and COSHH training and hold a level 2 in food hygiene.

Please note all interviews will be held in line with social distancing rules, if you have a new cough or high temperature at the time of the interview you will not be allowed to attend.
