It's a newly created position that works with a very successful and fast growing business. Well Placed HR are delighted to have been exclusively assigned by a highly successful retail business, a household name in West Somerset. This is one of the few businesses that have experienced significant growth during the pandemic, it now employs over 100 staff with an increasing head count. A such, they now seek to recruit an experienced HR Manager to join the business on a permanent, part time arrangement - 20-25 hours per week with days and hours to suit both sides. This is a brand-new position where the successful candidate, utilising their own experiences gained within an operational setting, will create a set of people management systems and policies that will guide the business into the future. Its an exceptional opportunity for a forward-thinking HR generalist to really stamp their mark on the business with the design of modern-day policies that ensure employee policies are not only compliant, but that staff are genuinely nurtured. This will be a challenging, yet highly rewarding role that will operate within a fast-paced environment. The business has a long term agreement with an outsourced HR consultancy but now seeks to bring much of that provision in house, commencing with the development of existing policies and implementation of new initiatives to ensure best policies that meet the needs of a growing business and its talented workforce. Youll work closely with an experienced MD and tier one team, and will quickly become a recognised and respected professional within the business. Youll be the number one point of contact for employee care, recruitment, HR audit, HR strategy, legislation, and productivity.
