We are seeking an individual to join AUB's well-established undergraduate course in photography. The ideal candidate will have experience in contemporary photographic practice, with the necessary knowledge and understanding to support the broad range of ideas and approaches with which our students are engaged. This includes moving image, performance and installation.
BA (Hons) Photography is a successful, well-established and internationally renowned undergraduate course. It introduces students to a broad range of ideas and contexts, responding directly to the expansive nature of contemporary photographic practice. Research informed creative practice is key to the learning process which is centred on the individual learner. The course is supported by a highly experienced team of photographic specialists, with state-of-the-art studio and darkroom facilities for analogue and digital production.
Educated to Masters Level, the successful candidate will also hold a postgraduate teaching qualification and/or HEA membership and have a detailed knowledge and deep understanding of the subject's contemporary debates and practices.
