Want to do the best work of your life? With 24 million customers in 6 countries, make your mark at Europe's leading media and entertainment brand. A workplace where you can proudly be yourself; our people make Sky a truly exciting and inclusive place to work.

Working with the Planning & Insights Lead, you will be responsible for the management of the quarterly and half yearly planning process for Sky's products. You will help deliver an "always on" and seamless planning process.

What you'll do:

* Owning the planning calendar, following input from the Performance Director/HoD; ensuring all teams, including Product verticals, Trading Performance, Routes-to-Market, CSG, Media Investment, Consumer Strategy and Finance understand the key review checkpoints and that these are scheduled in a timely way
* Ensure we have effective planning meetings, playing a pivotal role in producing and collating materials to ensure the right input is provided for each meeting, actions are captured, and planning process timelines/inputs are cascaded in a timely manner
* Produce insights as stimulus for the planning meetings; what are the big themes for the quarter, half, full year (ensuring alignment with Consumer Strategy). What happened last year, what have we learned to further inform our plans? Self-generate inputs and take the best insights from across Sky (e.g. from Strategic Insights)
* Work closely with the Media, Insight and Evaluation teams to develop an approach to planning that supports segmented marketing to address our key headroom groups across prospects and existing customers
* Campaign priorities and media "sync" plan governance: Pre-quarter: ensure wider business alignment of key Sky campaigns in market. In-quarter: weekly re-fresh of the in-quarter media "sync" plan; working with the Media investment and product P&L owners, ensure we always have an up-to-date view of spend, for input into the Weekly Exec Trading meeting
* Be flexible to work on other insights as agreed with the Planning & Insight Lead

What you'll bring:

* Brilliant collaborator - able to work across a matrix organisation with the product owners, CSG and finance to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely trading decisions
* Credible and able to present work to the Director/HoD of Trading, with excellent presentation skills (written and verbal)
* Tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique and optimise performance and processes with a Positive mind-set
* Experienced, gained in a Media or FMCG business; 3-5 years; 2:1 university degree (or equivalent); proficient in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
