Our Client; a truly global leader in the manufacture of Specialist Vehicles and Survivability systems are experiencing substantial growth, which is being led by a healthy order book. It is now our pleasure to be supporting them with the recruitment of an enthusiastic and experienced Personal Assistant (PA) on a part-time basis (circa 25 hours), who combines such knowledge with that of finance, book keeping and accounts. This position will see you based and working in very luxurious facilities and your expertise will be rewarded with a negotiable basic salary (dependent on relevant experience), together with a full benefits package, to include bonus.

As the Personal Assistant (PA), you will provide effective PA support to one of the company owners, including responsibility for administration and financial accounting. You will further enable company corporate social responsibility (CSR) through faith-based community and charitable work, by providing effective administration and financial accounting support.

Specific Responsibilities will include:

To provide effective PA support, including administration and financial accounting responsibilities, whilst working with key stakeholders including the Jewish Music Institute (JMI) and the North West Surrey Synagogue (NWSS).
Responsible for book keeping, enter data payments, bank reconsolidations, VAT pay, Gift aid, Charity's, cheque submissions and salaries.
Manage daily account transactions, reconciling payments and receipts between 'Xero' system and bank statements.
Invoicing and payments where applicable.
Provide financial reports as and when required and work with the external auditors on the finalisation of company accounts.
Prepare and report on the financial position, to be presented at quarterly trustees meeting.
Minute taking.
Run the monthly payroll for two employees including payments and reports to HMRC, pension administration and recording holiday / overtime / bonuses.
Assist with Annual subscription payments, review and follow-ups.
Events administration and to attend events when applicable.
Ad-hoc administration duties and personal duties as required.Qualifications & Experience ideally needed:

You should be an experienced Personal Assistant (PA), combining such expertise with strong Financial accounting / book keeping abilities up to Trail Balance, ideally having used Xero Accounting Software.
Extensive experience of book keeping and accounts with a high degree of numeracy and logical thinking is required.
You will have experience of supporting at Executive/Board level.
Highest levels of confidentiality, discretion, judgment and integrity is required.
Highly developed planning and organisation skills and attention for detail.
IT literate with knowledge of Accounting software; ideally 'Xero', Microsoft Office software and Internet knowledge.
Excellent knowledge of budgeting and cash flow forecasting needed.
Proficient in MS Office ie Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
You will have effective written and verbal communication skills.Please Note: Due to the nature of the client and the role, all applicants must be eligible for Security Clearance. Applicants must be a British Passport holder or have previously held SC clearance.
