A leading educational publisher are looking for a part-time Editorial Coordinator to work 28 hours per week, over 4 days to cover a period of maternity leave (c 9-12 months). This can be a remote role based in the UK.

Reporting to the Editorial Manager the successful candidate will support the ELT publishing team. The role will focus on custom publishing projects and regional adaptations for the EMEA region. This will be a fascinating and varied role with a range of editorial and administrative tasks including planning and producing products in both print and digital, assisting with the asset tracking (IP) for large ministry projects and asset gathering for digital ebooks and liaison with ebook vendors. Other responsibilities include data entry in the integrated publishing system, managing contracts in the filing system, writing up statements of work and author agreements and preparation of letters, scanning and uploading.

The ideal Editorial Coordinator will have experience of working within a busy and varied publishing role, possess good PC / IT skills having worked with Microsoft office programmes, have strong numeracy and good communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. A can-do attitude with a flexible approach, and the ability to work calmly in a sometimes highly pressured environment is important. Being a team player is a must. The role can be worked remotely but may require occasional travel to the company's office in Andover, Hampshire.
